Self-care is so necessary because it ensures that you take
care of yourself and who better to take care of yourself than you. I don’t believe
that there is a clear cut depiction of how you go about implementing self-care because
it is varies from person to person.
Self-care can include so many things like taking a nice walk,
having a glass of wine, or reading a book. I already do a lot of the things
that will help me mentally and spiritually. I read a lot of books and I also
listen to various podcasts see my PodcastPlay post. However I want and need to get into the pampering side of self-care.
I, of course, want to go to a spa, get a massage, and just lay in a Jacuzzi filled
to the brim with bubbles while drinking wine. But honestly at this point simply
not hearing “Mommy, Mom, Ma” while at also making sure that the terror that is
Star (my dog) doesn’t keep getting in the trash can works for me J No, but seriously I’m
going to work on getting some actual pamper me time. It doesn’t even have to be
long but I NEED it!
