The Time Will Come

I have often wondered what will become of my life…so dramatic. I started my career journey off on such a great path. I was getting promoted at the jobs I had very quickly and making pretty good money at a very young age.  But of course, life happens. My career is fine now. I am a Chef and I run my own kitchen. I just had other plans of what my professional life would look at this moment in my life.

I was supposed to have many restaurants, cookbooks, and television shows by now. I started in the Food Industry at eighteen years old and I started cooking at eight years old. Sidebar: I know that my family loves me because I was feeding them some nasty stuff and they ate it haha. Cooking definitely brings me joy but I also have varied interests.

Over the years I have dabbled in other fields outside of the Food Industry. I have been involved in Real Estate. I went to Cosmetology school. And at one point I wanted to open up my own Daycare Center. I also love to write (hence this blog). Over time I had started to get discouraged and think that because of my age, thirty-two years young, that I would never get to re-explore those things. Which of course is an idiotic thought but hey that's how I felt. 

I know the time will come when everything that I have ever desired to do will unfold. I just have to be patient and get over the fact that I did not accomplish those things earlier. I have more life ahead of me so no matter how long it takes it’ll happen.
